Golf shoes are important to your game because they help keep you planted. Much like cleats in other sports, golf shoes have spikes or enhanced tread to help keep you from twisting or sliding in your swing. The two main types of golf shoes are Spiked which have interchangeable spiked discs to replace when worn out and Spikeless which have enhanced tread patterns but are not interchangeable.
